Junior Instructional Technologist – FTE – Wayne, PA

This is a full time permanent position.  Work with faculty and support staff to ensure accurate updating and seamless delivery of course content and materials in a timely manner. Work with the Instructional Technologist in the development of plans, management of projects, and training of users in facilitation of operational maintenance and upgrades. Assist instructors in developing educational delivery techniques taking instructionally designed content and delivering in most effective manner. Continuously monitor the latest innovations in the field and the performance of new products, initiating recommendations on new delivery methods and best practices in instructional design. Collaborate with the Director of Instructional Design and inter-department personnel to continuously assess and refine internal Instructional Design & Technology processes to maximize efficiency.

 

Knowledge/training in educational technology platforms and online delivery methods equivalent to a post-secondary technical program certificate. 1 – 3 years of experience with eLearning/online pedagogy and related experience in program design and user support. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills with detailed documentation abilities. Outside-the-box and creative approach to brainstorming, problem solving and designing engaging, exciting and effective learning solutions with an eye towards the inclusion of multimedia and assessments. Experience with Blackboard, Adobe Design and Web Premium, Microsoft Office, Articulate and additional industry standards. Experience in developing online courses inclusive of: Communicating with external vendors; Thorough Quality Assurance reviews and revisions for all developed online courses; Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency with online course development tools or an interest to learn (e.g. Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, HTML, Photoshop, Blackboard and Adobe Connect.).  Knowledge of mobile technologies and trends.
