UI/UX Designer  – Wayne, PA

Responsible for designing web interfaces that are efficient, intuitive and compelling. Working closely with the Product Manager, the Development team, and Business Leads, the UI/UX designer will bring the product vision and requirements to fruition.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of  user-centered design including task analysis, user flows, navigation, content hierarchies, interaction design, and interactive wireframe prototypes
  • Work with Systems Architect, Web Developers, and Business leads to design user interfaces to meet the requirements.
  • Help translate customer needs and articulate to the rest of the team how to solve their problems, meet their requirements and exceed their expectations.
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups and detailed design specifications to define interfaces
  • Prototype and iteratively validate designs that provide innovative and effective solutions to complex user experience problems
  • Creates and maintains good technical documentation
  • Provide counsel and advice to IS leadership in matters of user interface and design.

Skills Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as UX designer, interaction designer, user interface designer, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • Proficient use of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, etc.)
  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS, Adobe creative suite and wireframing software
  • Strong graphic design and UI sensibility
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects varying in size and complexity, prioritizing time and tasks as needed to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Understanding of / experience with unit testing and source code control (GIT, Subversion, CVS).
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methodology
