Project Manager – IT Infrastructure (contract) – Lancaster PA area or NYC

Project Manager – IT Infrastructure:  IT Project Manager responsible for the successful planning, administration and execution of Messaging, Directory Services and Hosting projects within Global IT. The project manager/administrator must possess a combination of skills including strong communications, organizational, budget tracking, teamwork, knowledge and problem-solving capabilities. Strong infrastructure experience, particularly with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory global consolidation projects.


  • Responsible for gathering all project data related to hosting consolidation globally and producing a reports, metrics and/ or related slides for senior leadership review.
  • Develop relationships with global counterparts and obtain timely status of hosting related projects.
    Produce regular status reporting related to hosting consolidation.
  • Develops and executes on project plan(s) for delivering new Global Email and Active Directory architecture designs for improving internal business processes and services
  • Drives design project execution to ensure all tasks and deliverables are met in planned timelines
  • Participates in development of regional migration plans and provides overall migration plan administration as well as roll-ups and escalations to program leadership
  • Develops regular cadence with Global IT leadership to provide broad view of overall migration plan progress
  • Actively engages with regional leads and project managers for regular migration progress updates through consistent status meetings
  • Proactively makes the customer aware of opportunities and issues; develops and presents recommended strategies in a timely fashion
  • Manages project issues, including issue identification, escalation, and resolution status tracking
  • Develops, maintains and expands effective working relationships with internal and regional team members as well as members of other IT departments and helps others to do so; evaluates internal client satisfaction
  • Manages projects to help ensure delivery is consistent with the expectations of IT Operations, and IT methodologies and best practices
  • Provides pertinent and timely deliverables to management and addresses resource conflicts or late deliverables with support staff and/or peers
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal and team productivity through time and cost control
  • Determines the type and level of skills required for a project/engagement and requests staff allocations appropriately

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory and global consolidation projects a plus
  • PMP and ITIL certification a plus.
